Meet Our Pastor

Dr. Charles “Carlos” Wesley Williams, Jr. was born again and water baptized in 1968. From that time, he knew that the call of God was on his life. Under the tutelage of his parents, Archbishop Rev. Dr. Charles W. Williams, Sr., and Lady Eartha L. Williams, he learned to acknowledge God in all his ways, to respect and honor family, and to be grateful for the blessings bestowed upon his life. He was baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues in 1980. In 1981, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from the University of South Carolina. He received a Master of Divinity and later a Doctorate in Religious Philosophy from Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Williams published his first book, The Mystery of First Fruit Giving, in April 2004. In May 2014, he graduated from Ever Increasing Word Training Center of Darrow, Louisiana.
In July 1996, Dr. Williams was ordained as a minister of the Gospel by Apostle Dr. Leroy Thompson, Sr., of Word of Life Christian Center in Darrow, Louisiana. Within the same month and by the direction of the Holy Spirit, he founded and became the pastor of Life House Church (formerly Word of Faith Christian Ministries) in Beaufort, South Carolina. Phase one of his vision (Life House Church) was erected in December 2002. Phase two of the vision, a 16,500-square foot child care facility named Life House Child Enrichment Station (LHCES), was completed in 2014. LHCES is licensed to provide early care and education for 382 children in the state of South Carolina. Dr. Williams has nurtured a biblically-sound multicultural ministry of love, where the Word of God is constantly enriching the lives of people.

Dr. Williams is married to the beautiful and anointed Marie D. Williams, MDiv. They have two beautiful daughters, Lawanda Bethel Jones and Moriel Williams. They believe that marriages ordained by God should be as “Days of Heaven on Earth,” and this is a reality in their marriage. Together, they conduct marriage workshops with this theme in mind.
Dr. Williams attributes the success of his life and ministry to walking in a revelation of the love of God, praying in the Holy Spirit, spending time in the presence of God, and obedience to the Word of God, both logos and rhema.
